Multiple suspects hunted after jewelry store at Richmond Hill mall robbed

A jewelry store at a shopping mall in Richmond Hill was targeted by robbers on Saturday afternoon, York Regional Police say.

No one was physically injured during the incident at Hillcrest Mall, and police say multiple suspects had fled.

It was not immediately clear if any items were taken from the store. No suspect descriptions have been released.

The store joins a list of other jewelers in the Greater Toronto Area that have been robbed over the past few months.

MIAMI – Brazen burglars go to great lengths to make sure they don’t leave empty-handed. Two thieves got away with close to a million dollars worth of jewelry and were caught on camera while doing so.

Police are looking into a possible link between a Collingwood jewelry store robbery and an attempted robbery in Barrie that both took place on Monday afternoon.

Armed robbery at downtown Collingwood jewelry store results in 3 arrests

Three people face charges in connection with an armed robbery in downtown Collingwood.

A security camera perched atop Town Hall captured what appears to be three individuals walking into DC Taylor Jewelers around 3:20 pm on Monday and running from the store exactly one minute later.
