Law enforcement sources told TMZ that Collins was visiting a West Hollywood hotel spa during the first weekend of May 2023, and when she returned, her wedding band, engagement ring, and some electronics were gone. The stolen items are estimated to have cost over $10,000, the outlet reports. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department are investigating the robbery and told the publication that there was no signed forced entry where the theft took place. Police officers are also reviewing the hotel’s security footage for more details, according to Page Six.

The rock features a rose-cut morganite center stone, set in a diamond halo with a brushed gold setting. “This style of diamond always appears larger because it is cut flatter than traditional modern diamonds,” Bonnie Dudeney, a private jeweler, told Hello. “It’s lovely ‘light pink’ color and is exceptionally rare.” Andrew Brown, CEO of WP Diamonds, estimates that the sparkler is about two to three carats and is worth around $4,000.

The bride wore a lace A-line wedding dress with long sleeves and an embroidered mock neck by Ralph Lauren. She paired the elegant gown with a lace-embroidered hood instead of the traditional veil, and had her hair swept back in a low bun. McDowell sported a velvet tuxedo for the occasion. Based on the photo, the duo exchanged vows while standing on a geometric rug in front of a wooden arch. Elsa Jagniecki of Heirlooms Designs, their wedding planner, also peppered the space with handpicked flowers that evoke a cottagecore, rustic vibe and vintage furniture, china, and suitcases.
Collins first documented her relationship status change on September 21, 2021, on social media. “I’ve never wanted to be someone’s someone more than I do yours, and now I get to be your wife,” his caption said. “On September 4th, 2021 we officially became each other’s forever. I love you beyond @charliemcdowell…” She also posted a photo of the newlyweds with their altar in the background, which photographer Cedar & Pines captured.
